Rule one:

Make your life harder,
then show it to the world.

I am a fearless indoorsman,  knowledgeable in tech-culture and video game history.

With this in my DNA, I set out to build an immersive lab on campus at UT Austin. After 3 years and with the membership of over 100 students and faculty, I then worked on developing a  curriculum to compliment this growing field. Texas Immersive is now an established graduate and undergraduate specialization at the Moody College of Communication.

This is some of what I have done along the way.

Research, Reports, and Advertising Projects:

Experiential Design: AR App for H-E-B's #TexansHelpingTexans

Runner-up to the 2020 ZoomJam competition

Writing Projects: Medium Publication - XR/Blockchain/Storytelling

The Imagine Lab - UT’s Immersive Hub:

Working as the inaugural lab manager at the University of Texas at Austin — Imagine Moody, I coordinated demo sessions and presentations for students and faculty across the university involving VR/AR and other emerging technologies.

On the second Wednesday of every month, I also coordinated a Moody Meetup, a meeting held in our lab at UT to discuss innovation and entrepreneurship in different topics and industries. At the Meetup, we also showcased demos for attendees to try themselves — including a demo library I have also curated and organized myself.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I then built a virtual world on Gather.Town to host our events.
